TAMIYA 95286 – Aero Thunder Shot Black Special

A Special Version of a Modern Classic
This Mini 4WD model assembly kit creates a Black Special version of the Aero Thunder Shot. As the name suggests, it has a black based color scheme, offset with numerous red components. The body is molded in tinted smoke color ABS resin, and metallic stickers are included to decorate it. They also include dedicated carbon pattern stickers. The chassis is molded in durable red polycarbonate-ABS, paired with black underpanel, diffuser and roller parts, as well as black V-spoke wheels and red arched tires.

AR Chassis
The AR chassis is designed to offer its driver durability, customizability and ease of maintenance, all of which are vital ingredients for a successful Mini 4WD racer. The underpanel and diffuser help channel air smoothly, and can be removed from the model without taking off the body. Removing the underpanel allows changing of the batteries, while taking off the diffuser facilitates checking of the motor and gears. Moving the underpanel forwards lets you take out the motor. A low-friction rear skid bar is also included to slash time loss experienced on tricky slope sections, and keep the racer on the track where it belongs. Features a 4.2:1 gear ratio.

TAMIYA 95485 – Festa Jaune L Green Special (Polycarbonate Body)

This assembly kit creates a Green Special version of the Festa Jaune L Mini 4WD racer. Its polycarbonate body takes the original Festa Jaune and removes the roof fin and rear wing for a lighter-weight and speedier car. The MS Chassis is the base for the model, molded in fluorescent green along with the A parts. Black fin type wheels are paired with gray small diameter low-profile tires, and dedicated clear stickers are included.

The direct drive, double-shaft motor MS Chassis features a 3-piece setup split into nose, center and tail units for easy attachment and detachment. Its 80mm wheelbase provides an advantage through corners. The chassis has a gear ratio of 3.5:1 and is fitted with 13mm plastic rollers.

This kit creates a Pink Special version of the exciting Mini 4WD racer named Raikiri, originally conceived by Japanese designer Kota Nezu of znug design. The flowing Raikiri body is molded in polycarbonate: not only durable but also lightweight, it promises to contribute to a faster car. As its name suggests, pink is the predominant theme in the car's color scheme, with fluorescent pink plastic chassis and A parts, while Y-spoke wheels are molded in black and paired with gray low-profile tires. Stickers are included in the kit to decorate the body with colored graphics, headlights and more.

The direct drive, double-shaft motor MS Chassis features a three-piece setup split into nose, center and tail units for easy attachment and detachment, with batteries flanking the central motor for superior balance in addition to the low center of gravity.
